Corporate Magician and Mentalist in Miami: How Live Entertainment Changes the Energy at Your Event

08 June 2026

I know the title sounds a little mysterious.

“What happens when you bring a magician or mentalist into a room?”

The obvious answer is entertainment. That’s why people hire us in the first place.

Sure.

But after years of performing as a corporate mentalist in Miami, I’ve noticed something else happening over and over again at corporate events.

Before an event, I’ll usually get on a call with a client and hear some version of the same concerns.

“We want people to mingle more.”

“We have departments that don’t really know each other.”

“Last year people started leaving the event before it was over.”

“Everyone ends up on their phones.”

Not every client says those exact words, but the idea is usually somewhere around there.

They’re planning a great event. Nice venue, good food, open bar, great people.

They just want the room to feel, as I like to say, a little more umph.

And that’s where I come in,

After doing this at corporate events for a while, I’ve started calling what happens next The Shared Secret Theory.

I know, I know. Another mysterious title.

And yes, I completely made it up.

There may be a real term for it. If there is, I don’t know it.

But here’s what I mean.

Let’s say I’m performing for a small group during an event.

Maybe it’s six people from different departments.

Maybe it’s a group that already knows each other.

Maybe it’s a mix.

Something impossible happens.

For a few minutes, everybody is focused on the same thing.

They laugh.

They argue about how it works.

Someone accuses their coworker of being in on it.

Someone swears they know exactly how it happened because their uncle used to do magic.

They don’t.

Then I move on to another group.

I hit a few more tables.

Thirty or forty minutes later, I start hearing it.

One table is talking to another table about what they saw.

Someone comes looking for me because their coworkers haven’t seen anything yet.

Then somebody walks over and asks:

“Wait… did he do that to you too?”

And now they’re comparing stories.

“He guessed my PIN.”

“No, mine was different.”

“He knew the name of my grandmother.”

“No way.”

“He guessed my first crush.”

I’ve heard versions of that conversation more times than I can count.

but the thing is… they’re not talking about me.
They’re talking about the experience.

More specifically, the experience they just had together.

That’s the shared secret.

That’s the secret sauce.

For a couple of moments, a group of people gets pulled into the same experience and now they have something they can relate to.

I’ve seen people who didn’t know each other at the beginning of an event spend the rest of the night together afterward.

I’ve seen people standing on the edge of a group watching from a distance get pulled into the experience and then stay with that group for the rest of the evening.

I’ve had people hunt me down and drag me across the room because they wanted a friend or coworker to see the same thing they just experienced.

Half the room hasn’t seen me yet, but they’re already talking about it.

The experience starts spreading before I’ve even reached everyone.

And at that point, I know it’s working.

And that’s what happens when you get a Mentalist | Magician for your event.

P.S. I’m a magician and a mentalist. Of course I think interactive entertainment is awesome, so there’s a very real chance I’m completely biased and think this stuff is way cooler than the average person does. Read accordingly.
